Trust Funding & Sustainability

The annual donations will be utilised towards funding our mentorship programs, events, scholarships, and annual meeting expenses. As our program grows, we anticipate that about 40 KMT scholars will be supported within 10 years of the Trust's inception. Among them, approximately 20 scholars will have established successful careers, and about 5 scholars will have embraced the mentality of giving back, thereby ensuring the growth and sustainability of our noble cause.

Our fund-raising efforts are led by Prof Bikash Pal, one of Kajalbabu's successful students and a faculty member at Imperial College London. With his guidance and dedication, we strive to secure the necessary resources to drive our mission forward.

KMT Scholars

Identifying potential scholars is a crucial aspect of our mission. Headmasters from all Higher Secondary Schools in SABANG will nominate candidates for the KMT scholarship. Our main committee members will diligently review each nomination, considering merit and means as the sole criteria. Each year, we aim to award 3-5 deserving students with the scholarship. Continuation of the scholarship throughout the 3-5 year program will depend on the academic performance of the scholars. To ensure their success, each scholar will have a remote mentor, one of our committee members, who will provide guidance and track their progress. Additionally, existing scholars will be required to attend the Trust's annual general meeting, fostering a sense of community and accountability.
